I just opened the attic.

We have some loft space, but it's too small to be an attic, which is a shame as I would've converted it to my study otherwise. It's full of old boxes from stuff we've bought, bits of furniture, Christmas decorations and a couple of floor-standing fans that I'll have to dig out once our fortnight of hot weather starts. Dealing with the loft is my job since there might be spiders and my gf hates them.

We also don't have a basemant, and recently cleared out the garage, so there aren't any interesting foreboding corners to explore.

About the only thing in my attic are mice and bats. Damn mice. Scratching all the time keeping me awake. Although there is an old Coleco Vision and a bunch of games up there too. They were my wife's. Oh, there's also my dad's old 0 scale trains from when he was a kid. I don't have any use for them other than them being cool. I've often thought about selling them but I'm not sure how my siblings would feel about that.

Or they don't know about it. Based on his story, they obviously cared.

My attic is just filled with every single Lego set made until the year 2002.
