Just an opinion

Lets compair the sub races:
Weres have no hinderances I can think of. (If you are one, please tell me, as I am a vamp and thus haven't really looked into Werewolf stuff.)

Vamps, on the other hand, are weak to fire, and sunlight. Sure they get resistances and stuff, but it seems a bit unfair to me.

I feel that weres should be affected more harsly by silver weapons? or something along those lines.

Don't flame please. Its just a semi educated viewpoint. (By semi i mean, What i have heard from my friends who play the game actively.)
Love some other peoples input, and thank you for your time in reading this. Cheers!

(Also. I am a PS3 user, please dont say get a mod or play a were) (because weres just seem like easy mode.)

Maybe I'm just bad, but on master difficulty (and being used to a stealth-based archer class) I got owned whenever I took on were form, to the point that I cured myself. I know were's don't get the "well rested" bonuses, either.

There are no silver weapons this time around, which I find just absolutely silly.

From what I hear, werewolves are only werewolves for a short amount of time once a day. Vampires are vampires always.

Werewolves have to go to Oblivion, into the Realm of Hircine when they die; and are forced to hunt with their master for eternity.

If that's not a drawback, I don't know what is.

If you mean strictly gameplay mechanics: No inventory, weapon changes, or magicka in beast form; and your change is only good once per day.

warewolf is the better of the two i've heard you can sprint faster then a horse dmg and hp are increased but you cant change in front of others or in town you will get attacked and fined fines in warewolf form dont go into your human form you cant talk to people or loot bodies the form last 2 min i think and you have to eat bodies to keep the form up so all in all i think its a great curse if you want to wipe out a bandit fort fast just got to keep eating people to get healed yumm yumm

A big drawback for me that keeps me from staying a Werewolf is not being able to heal. Also, I have to agree with Zero_Phoenix, what happens after death isn't a cool thought.

You need to learn how to play a werewolf, abuse his "roar", it cause fear on mostly enemys, and know when to be a werewolf, if you spot a strong, like trolls or a bunch of bandit high armored, or even a strong vampire, turn in werewolf-roar-hunt-feed-roar-hunt..... =)

that is a good thing, sheogorath does not take the dead so who better to spend your afterlife with than the prince of the hunt?

to the op: werewolves are op for 160 seconds a day (thats the right amount right?) plus the blood-lust they get from kills. they cannont be killed by most mundan things because their roar makes everyone flee, and we haveno real weakness that i know of

Actually, you will find a ton of Silver Weapons during the Companions questline.

I rarely ever use Beast Form. The exception is when I have to make an easy kill for the DB. Then I destroy the mark and eat his guts. Sithis approves.

werewolf form is for when your thinking "kay, im done with fairness, time for the i win button".

vampirism is a way to gimp yourself for RP purposes or because the game is too easy.
