I had a build designed for New Vegas that should have been able to do exactly that, but I never got around to testing it. Would have been a riot showing Rawr what for.

Well power armour does give you a heck of a lot of defense, +3 strength and makes ya immune to the deathclaws instant death move, so yeah it matters ;p
