Anywhoooo ive heard there is a patch out next week (im on ps3) but will this new patch force a restart? or can I carry on playing my pre patch save?

Patches don't require restarting characters.

I think that would piss alot of people off if you had to restart your character whenever a patch came out.
Patches just tend to fix bugs and glitches and other complaints, they sometimes add a little extra content (nothing big)

Don't need to sweat it. No such thing as a noob question IMO: TES is not Counterstrike or BF3 or Modern Warfare, there are no 'noobs' in TES.
