No toilets or outhouses!

Or bathrooms, for that matter ...

I'm a big fan of immersion and the lack of bowel movements takes me right out of the game. I really wish they would implement a system in which I could properly experience the passage of waste matter out of my body. Perhaps some kind of mini-game to go along with it?

Naw, it'd be like the crafting systems. You need certain types of food in your inventory to "craft" the desired... item.

They could use that wonderful Pooparchery system from Duke Nukem Forever.

It's funny, but I didn't really make the connection with buckets until I saw this thread. I thought I would have noticed the connection since I noticed the week before Skyrim came out that Daggerfall is littered with NPCs actually sitting in the buckets reading a book while they talk to you.

I hope someone makes a mod for bodily functions now, drink to much mead and you puke, relieve yourself in public and it's a crime. Could make the game a lot more immerse.

I just can't get immersed without watching my Wood Elf bend over and push one out. I'm also demanding litter boxes for Khajiits. It's about time dammit.

Immortal children and marriage were just a tad higher than fully functional bathrooms on their list, so we're getting close.

Hahaha I cannot believe you posted this! I have been having this same thought about Skyrim. Where the heck are the outhouses!?

When I started playing WoW I noticed the same thing. I actually posted on the forums about it. A couple years later I noticed that more of them had been added to the game.

Great post! It made me chuckle. :)

I know now there have been threads about this. (Dear This Board's Search Function. You svck and fail. Terribly. Yours sincerely, Me.) However, I've seen small rooms with buckets now and then, but I'd say "plenty of" is a vast exaggeration and the way it's arranged doesn't even look that helpful. And ... they have fully functional sewers in some towns, yet they prefer filling some wooden bucket (that doesn't look too watertight, by the way) and emptying it out of the window afterwards or something?

Where do people wash themselves? With the same bucket they ...? *faints* Wild land and everything, but the townsfolk looks a little more "civilized" or "progressive". (Not meant evaluatively.)
