That the peninsula just south of Ebonheart would make a good location for perhaps...a suburb, or just a continuation of the city of VIVEC/EBONHEART. It alsways looked so empty to me.

Well, that peninsula is already being used by several mods. Like http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=3657 for example, which adds a house to it. And now Thondur has made a mod called http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8302, which combines his landmass improvements with the earlier called Hideaway cottage.
There was a suburb mod somewhere, but can't remember it.

Maybe there will soon be a population explosion in Ebonheart, forcing the peninsula to become developed...I can dream of that!

Something like this? :) A couple of Construction Set views of a small town I did in that location 5+ years ago. I called it New Ascadia. It was my first town modding attempt (and the precursor to my current WIP Firewatch). Needless to say, it probably wouldn't look anything like this were I to do it today.

Sometimes I miss the good old days of having a modestly sized mod... :(

I agree, and i also hope you will release it ones you are finished with it. It always bugged me that the place where Duke Dren rules, and the Empire has such a large presence was so small.

Thanks all... didn't think there'd be any interest in this one. I would not have a problem releasing it, but there are no interiors. :( That is somewhat of an unfortunate pattern with my mods (I prefer doing the exteriors, so I procrastinate on doing the interiors). I guess I need to team up with an interior designer-type person who is the opposite.

Anyway... I can release this as is now, or wait till some basic interiors are done. To be honest, I hadn't planned on completing this, but if I know there is interest, of course that changes things, and I would most likely move this to the top of my modding list ahead of doing the interiors on my other mod (which is 6X larger than this one). This town is pretty small and compact, with roughly 30 interiors, and all buildings are original statics, so it SHOULD be relatively easy to complete. My plan of attack for doing interiors (sort of a shortcut) is to find a similar existing building somewhere in MW, and use its interior cell as a starting point, and either gut it and redo it, or alter it enough to save off as something new. However, this would also be the perfect opportunity for someone who has an interior or two with nowhere to put them. I'm not picky.

So... For those interested in this mod, what is your vote? Now and incomplete, or later and (more or less) complete?

Nah...make it later and (entirely) complete. Just take your time and do a good job.

I agree, find one or more persons(not me. :) ) that can help you with the interior. Then take all the time needed before releasing the final version.

You are both right... I guess it makes no sense to release something that's half complete. (I'm still in Firewatch mode, where I've decided an exteriors-only release is almost a must if I want any feedback in this lifetime.) But since this one has "only" 30 interiors, I don't think it will take very long once I put my mind to it. As long as I know there's interest in the finished product, not a problem... :)

Thanks for the feedback.

Ha! That'd be great if I could sell the real estate (or at least collect rent)! But I don't want to be seen as a rogue developer contributing to urban sprawl on Vvardenfell, either... Do they have zoning codes here?
