Just shot a butterfly with an arrow

Post » Thu Apr 18, 2013 9:56 am

It was purely a freak accident of course.
I was aiming for a wolf when a butterfly got in the way,I saw the butterfly wings split in half and found them on the ground after I killed the wolf.
I'm not sure if that arrow hit the wolf also or it was the next one,but I found an arrow in the wolf also.
I don't think the second arrow was on target but I could be wrong.

Whats your strange freak accidents?

I was at the College of Winterhold when a dragon attacked. This was before i had learned Dragonrend so i only had Unrelenting Force. As I aimed at the Dragon and shouted a few members deiced to walk infront of me... "Rejoining the College" shows up on my screen. Same kinda happened in Windhelm during a dragon attack. I hit a Thieves Guild fence by mistake and next thing i know everyone in the guild is pist-off at their leader...

I wouldn't wanna be a butterfly in skyrim thats for sure, what with the Dovahkiin up to his/her shenanigans, ripping there wings off for his/her's sick alchemic experiments, or Dovahkiins with shockingly bad aim such as yourself.

I installed a mod that lets Vampire lords activate things while in form.

This was the result

I stumbled upon a Draugr Death Overlord that somehow managed to get outside and got Fus-Roh-Dah'd to the moon.

Does it kinda annoy you that Meridia had no reaction to your impurity? It's like summoning a daedra infront of a vigil of Standarr, you expect them to get mad and yet nothing happens.

Believe it or not, that happened with me too... except my arrow was meant for a killing blow on a Dragon. >_<

No, she was just in awe of my awesomeness :P The core game would not have allowed this to happen because it required activating an object that was only possible by the mod. Sooooooo, my own fault really, but it was worth it.

I think the fact that Vigil's of Stendarr did not react to you summoning a Deadra was an oversight by Bethesda. They really should have, but maybe they were just trying to avoid any more scripts than necessary.

I shot a hawk outside of Lakeview Manor with arrows, it's now flying with two arrows sticking out of it's wings.

There is always a draugr deathlord outside the dragon perch southwest of Ivarstead...I always forget the name. It's up in the mountains.

I did that all the time when i was still playing my Kahjiit archer. Used to sit on honeyside's back porch and shoot the dragonflies out on the lake.

LOL...yeah I have zapped her, shot her with arrows, back stabbed her, chopped her, sliced her, burned her, and watched her die in traps.

Then sometimes I would hit her by accident...oops...outside voice.

Now no matter what game I am in, when someone gets in my way or triggers a trap, I call it pulling a lydia.
