Is it JUST Skyrim?

I've been thinking lately, about the idea that TES5 could consist of not just skyrim, but many other northern lands as well.
Think of this. How big was Oblivion? http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:Cyrodiil_map_Oblivion.jpg
How big is Skyrim? http://images.uesp.net//3/33/Skyrim_map_Oblivion.jpg
You can really see it here. http://images.uesp.net//c/c3/TamrielMap.jpg
Skyrim is about 1 half the size of Cyrodiil, yet bigger than morrowind. (Morrowind was pretty small geographicially...)
So wouldn't it be in their interest to call TES5: SKYRIM, but have the game in all three provinces to the north, hammerfell, high rock, and Skyrim? That together is barely larger than Cyrodiil?

It's possible...Would it be cool? I'd think so...DLC? Maybe...

Well. None of the TES games have used the same scale till now.

So it's pretty possible that although Skyrim might be smaller on the map it won't actually be (of feel) smaller in-game.

The devs can scale it to any size they please.

Lore wise, the province in hundreds of square miles, but we won't get that in game.

Morrowind took place on Vvardenfell, which compared to Cyrodil, looks small, but the devs scale everything to the size that they want.

The size of Oblivion's map was not much larger than that of Vvardenfell. In reality, or at least virtual reality :P , the map of Morrowind (game) is supposed to be far, far smaller than that of Oblivions.

Skyrim will probably be bigger than Oblivion.

I desperately hope not. The scale in Morrowind was bad, and in Oblivion it was appalling. I'd prefer they not even include ALL of Skyrim, and still have a bigger map than Oblivion.

Well first off they dont make the games to scale, and secondly I want them to completely focus on one province.

I hope its only one province. If there are more, it will be in expansions.

I don't think they will be in scale, so even though it appears smaller, in the actual game it will be the same if not larger compared to Oblivion. But I guess anythings possible.

Like I've said before, it's not about making the map bigger, like Oblivion, it's about making it feel bigger, like Morrowind. They just need to model it more after Morrowind and less after Oblivion in terms of traveling and the map (especially at the start of the game).

why on earth would you want to be in a province that isn't even complete? that would be ridiculous, Vvardenfell made sense in a way but still annoyed me that you could never go to mainland Morrowind.
Skyrim isn't divided like morrowind so to have an unfinished province would just feel like they got lazy to me.

Bring back Arena! ALL of Tamriel :).

btw, I love diversity, and would love to have the different geographic regions, landscapes, climates, fauna, peoples *somehow* in the game, not to mean have a super large area the size of Mars with nothing to do but tedious strolls.

I actually think they did a nice job in Oblivion. Probably why it was centered aorund Cyrodill, as it borders differente places. Snow, rain, marshes, fields, forests, mountains... Though Elsewyr I think has nothing of those, should be lots of deserts and rocks, am I correct?

Representation is key, and personally I believe the game map will be about the same size as Oblivion.

Maybe with expansions in the future but for now I see no real reason for adding more than Skyrim with scaling.
