Post » Sat Nov 13, 2010 8:10 pm

I got my handicap guys. I totally just slammed my thumb in a car door. My left thumb to be exact. I'm planning on playing through the pain, but it's gonna be annoying... Anybody else have something lame happen to them that they immediatly though, "this is definelty gonna [censored] up my brinkage..."?

Define "slam", because I think that should make your thumb either broken, or unusable for a week or more

I'm drunk all the time and I haven't slammed any extremities in the door since I was a kid. I laugh at you sir and if I see you online I'll know to juke around a lot to give your sore thumb a run for it's money. :flamethrower: :sadvaultboy:

I slammed the door and the door bounced off my thumb. I have insanely strong bones so it just left a bruise ;)

Cool story bro.

But honestly, you should feel bad about yourself and what you've done.

I rocked a few kid in rugby today, and now my chest hurts. But this could be an upside to me, because if it hurts this much by tomorrow, i can probably pick up the game and skip school. Which is sweet! (fyi, im not a kid that normally skips school to play a new game, but if it truly hurts, then i might as well take it!)

Left thumb probably won't handicap you a lot. Take it easy so you don't pop any stiches and you should be fine. I had a friend I used to play wow with get a 2 inch jagged cut on his pinky that was so bad he had stiches, painkillers, and a semi cast on it to keep it steady. That night we played arena and went pretty high even though he couldn't properly use most of his Shift+key moves because of his completely numb hands/injury.

For the first day, take it easy and do some challenge maps then check out the customization.

Milk FTW indeed. If it's really going to cause you problems, I would put it on ice now so that it's better by tomorrow.

When I was in high school a friend's dad took me and a few friends to pick out the limo we wanted for prom and my friend, who was abnormally tall reached up to grab the roof of the car on the door in front of him, where I was sitting, instead of where he was sitting. I didn't realize his hand was there and I shut the door. The door closed all the way and latched and he was jerking all around. He goes, "Ah! Aaaah! You slammed my f'n doors in the finger!" I was laughing so hard at his slip of the tongue that I couldn't open the door. My friend's dad smacked me on the back of the head and opened the door. My friend gave me a swift kick in the pants and I laughed even harder and started making fun of the whole doors in the finger thing.

I trapped my thumb in the door jam of a train door once. Shattered it in several different directions, ripped the nail up, once it was removed with them hospital pliers i had to have it stitched under the nail. Hurt quite a bit to be fair. Didnt do it again.
