I am new to this game (PS3) and I am trying to give it a fair shake, but maybe someone can help me with the following:

Every match I enter has 5 other people at best versus bots. I know that in Old Skool there are no bots but every match is no better than 4v4..last night I could not get a match for 20 minutes with at least 2v2 until I quit. I find this ominous as the game just came out and it seems that not a lot of people are playing. Is there anyway to get 8v8 with people only? I tried each of the setups and they all seemed to not suffice. I find this most frustrating since playing with and against the computer is not what I consider both multiplayer and fun. I even tried getting friends to join but they were ranked too high. I even changed my settings to my rank and higher with no luck.

What is this fireteam stuff. I tried adding people to a fireteam but I have no idea if they accepted or declined. Some stayed in game after game but there was no designation that I was in a fireteam.

How long until this stats site is up? I find it peculiar that the only stat you can see at the end of the game is total exp and not how you got it. I like k/d, but at least tell me how I accumulated 3145 exp.

Overall, even though I snagged this at a little over $40 after taxes this past weekend, I really feel like I'm missing something as I am not having that overall positive experience. Well, I hope I am missing something.

NOTHING online is stable on PSN right now, so there are a lot of players not even trying to go online. That's part of the problem - i've managed to get into one 4 vs. 4 (maximum player limit on "standard" settings at present). They've capped standard at 4 vs. 4 because of lag issues, but it's only a temporary measure while a proper patch is being worked on, and they added the "Big Teams" mode to allow players who want it to have full 8 vs. 8 matches.

I also want to see a breakdown of how XP was earned in a match. I hope this gets added, but at present, the final count is all we get - hopefully the stats site will be up and running soon and we'll get some more info on how we're doing. As far as I know, there hasn't been any ETA on that yet.

Thanks, I did not know they had it capped. That is reassuring at the least right now. I really am hoping they work out these things (8v8 people, stats, and party/clan system) as this game could be quite enjoyable.
