Is it just me...?

Hi everyone!

This is a completely pointless and irrelevant topic, but I was wondering if anyone else has to 'set the scene' for Fallout?? Haha!

What I mean is....I always have turn the lights off, shut the curtains and turn the volume way up, whatever time of day to get that scare factor! It just doesn't seem right otherwise!

Is this just me or does anyone else have a Fallout ritual so to speak? Lol. :)

I tend to wait until the evening to play.

I mentioned this to my friend, who plays from the moment he finishes his first cup of coffee, that I can't seem to get into the game during the day. The atmosphere is just wrong. (Even closed curtains doesn't work, as I know it's day out there....odd that. I guess it's due to being quiet at night, not just dark.)

I try and get my dog to settle down before playing, but he's always just a bit too far away or I'm never looking directly at him so it takes me a few goes.

Haha! I guess it shows how good the game is!...that we're sad enough to either sacrifice natural daylight or have to to wait til it's dark to play! :)

As a first time Fallout player, I'm amazed that somehow I missed all the previous games! It makes me want to go back and play them all! No other game has given me that feeling!

Although I must say...starting at number 4 takes so long to understand how to play affectively! But so worth it!
