I dunno if it is just me, but I'll have my head phones on in the dark, i'll be wandering different places such as the metro station or some old abandoned factory, and just the sound of creatures in the distance wether its feral ghouls or some other foul creature, it scares me and makes me on edge and then when they jump on me from behind it don't half make me jump! I love it though, the game feeding my emotions it makes it that much more fun and immersive, but yeah i'm actually finding it quite scary lol.

It wasn't that scary to me, I guess because I love the game too much and most of its aspects. But yeah there are some places where you can tell that they wanted a "scary feeling" reaction to come out of you. Ex. Subways, Dunwich Building, German Town Police Station, Point Lookout... ect.

it can be scary for sure, the metro tunnels, the ghouls, there's lots of creepy places in the game.

It certainly has times when it's supposed to be scary, but the game doesn't genuinely try to be scary.

Even being max level and max skills I'm cautious when I go to Point Lookout. That place is creepy even when I've played through it a million times.

Dunwich building, nuff said.

The first time i went through the subway tunnels to GNR creeped me out a bit, especially after the rad roaches ran by and i chased them right into my first encounter with a super mutant and ghouls.
