Before you buy something give it a month or so and see how the product goes(by reading reviews etc..). If the product does not function the way you like it then you don't have to buy it and you saved yourself the trouble. Look at the Xbox 360 for example, when they first came out many people bought them, then later on the "Red Ring of Death" appeared. Till this day, supposedly the "Red Ring of Death" is fixed and now the Xbox 360 bundles with more stuff and features unlike the older model of the Xbox 360. Products now a days seems to be rushed, and most of the time I give it few months to half a year before I buy them to save myself the trouble by waiting for companies to patch up what needs to be patched. I never see a product that goes all out perfect on release day and then by next year more/new features bundles with it for "free".

TL; DR

Always wait before you buy something to let companies patch up some stuff and for features that might come bundle with the package for free because you'll save yourself the trouble and maybe money. There is no such thing as a perfect product on release day.
