Just wanted to say thanks

I just wanted to say thank you to the Bathesda team for making a top ten of all time fantasy RPG. Oblivion was also an amazing game and an amazing RPG experience. You took the best of what the modding cummunity offered to Oblivion and put it into skyrim and then made it better. I also wanted to thank the modding community for thier time and effort that was put into both games. I use hundreds of mods on both games and it has definately changed my gaming experience for the better and gives the Elder Scrolls saga a massive advantage over other fantasy RPG's(not made by Bathesda). I wanted to give a special thank you to indefiance for his/her work on frostcrag reborn it was by far the best mod for Oblivion and I wish that frostcrag could be moved to skyrim...but meh I know its a strech. Bathesda I hope that the MMO you are developing is a sucess. However I will be waiting for your next single player adventure.

Agreed.

I have never played a game like Skyrim.

Best I've ever played.

Same here. It's unsettling to hear all the bad remarks from others who curse at Beth for being lazy or not trying..

And then I turn on Skyrim, and there's so much wonder and beauty and minute detail and realism to creatures and the environment, that I forget about the little bugs and glitches. Yeah bugs can be annoying, but when I look at Skyrim, I can tell that alot of love and devotion was put into its creation.

I took a trip to Washington state last summer, and I happened to look up at the trees, that look similar to the fir trees in Skyrim, and I remember thinking, "The developers actually made the fir trees in Skyrim move in the wind just like in real life."

The amount of detail is unfathomable (to me anyways).

Oh wow. It's quite refreshing to see a thread created solely for praising Skyrim, because we often only see the ones made by people whom feel the need to vent their frustration and inform us all of why they don't like the game.

One of my favorite aspects of the Elder Scrolls games as well as the two most recent Fallout games is the outrageous attention to detail. Everywhere you go and almost every location has some sort of story you can learn and they usually have a quest. I love that.

That's one of my favorite things too. Like finding a skeleton in some secluded part of a cave, with a journal in their satchel telling all about their adventure and eventually leading up to their demise. The little detail and stories is just...astounding to say the least. It makes it feel like the world is alive whether you are there or not to enjoy it.

Bethesda are one of the few developers in the Gaming Industry that I still have faith in. Don't focus on my cynicism though; I love Bethesda.
