o.0 I just watched a spider comit suicide or something o.0

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 5:17 pm

so there was a spider on a shirt i was about to put on and that kinda scared the crap out of me so i picked up the shirt carefully so that the spider wouldnt start climbing on me or something flipped it upside down over the sink and then gave it a slight tap ...

it fell off rolled down the sink and unfortunatly didnt go down the drain ... so then in an attemp to put it down the drain with out having to use the tap i spat on it and then it curled into a ball for a sec then when it came out of ball form started flailing its leg arm things about

after a few second of that it then face planted into a small drop of water got back up but 2 of its legs were stuck together than it tried stuggling for another 3 secs then just gave up went back into the water drop head 1st and i guess it died because 2 minutes later it still hadnt moved ... i then washed it own the drain ...

any one ever experience somethign like this or have some odd little story like tale to tell ?

I played that out in my head, it's great.

And I don't know, maybe he realized he wasn't going to make it and just drowned himself instead of having you spit on him for the next few minutes.

Unfortunately. I was hoping it had a nice suicide note and blew its brains out. How disappointing :sadvaultboy:

It was lunch, last year at school.

I brought my milk carton outside by accident during the 'recess'

I went to throw it away OUTSIDE in a PUSH LID garbage can.

and then suddenly...
Spoiler
A SQUIRREL POPPED OUT AND ATTACKED ME!

Where I went on to go to the emergency room. And missed a day of school

When I was little, we had a huge spider in our bathroom sink. My mom was even jumpy, but she slammed a cup over the spider and the drain hoping to scare it down the drain.

She lifted the cup and no spider, but heard me scream. The giant spider was hanging upside down in the cup! Mom startled, dropped the cup, and the spider bolted up under the floorboards near the sink.

I was afraid to go into the bathroom for like a week. I hate spiders.

I've noticed that spit seems to kill bugs. I killed a caterpillar by spitting on its back once.

I have the note right here:

Well I'm through with it, just had a one night stand with a man I thought I could share my life with, but unfortunely he was found dead the next morning. I then gave birth to thousands of little baby children and I named them each. Many of the older borns didn't get along with their brothers and sisters and many fights that lead to them being eaten. The ones that grew up have now left my cozy egg sack to make webs of their own, catching flies of their own that I taught them how to do. It was difficult raising them for a few days what wothout a father and all (Vinegar Ra rest his soul). I am now lonely and spend many of my days in the small upper corner of the bathroom ceiling of a human's lair. They keep much food around that attracts many insects which is an easy way to gain lunch, but has led to to all this diet going to my eight legs! I am now alone, fat, and near the end of my days........

I now toy with the humans by walking across the floor or the good ol hang from a single strand from the ceiling and scaring the crap out of them. I have dedcided now and once and for all I will end this life of mine. I guess I'll go out with a bang scaring a few humans while I go, hopefully they'll make it quick with those giant wings hey have. Silly how they never fly with them, but there just stupid humans.

Sincerely, Shelob

was that note floating around the net before this topic or did you actually write that backstory thing for a spider o.0 ?

Nope, just regular spit. Maybe it has something to do with the bacteria in saliva?

Yeah, I neaked into your house and decoded the web she created in the bathroom, then brushed it away so no one else could decipher it.

I'm impulsive.

Why is this so surprising or weird or strange or whatever the hell you think it is? Scorpions sting themselves if they're completely surrounded by fire, and regardless of that to me it sounds like what this spider did wasn't even intentional, if you can even say that bugs' actions can be "intentional".

We can't rule out the idea that the spider was playing dead, and will attack the OP in his sleep.

People swallow 7 spiders a year on average.
