The cheating is not rampant. I play at least one hour of MP every day, I rarely encounter cheaters. Your statement is not realistic.

I encounter cheaters daily, sometimes on opposite teams actually competing against one another, finding out who's aimbot is better.

You guys should consider that the servers you regularly play at is in a different area. So cheaters are like other players in a sense that they go to the fastest servers located near them.

So if most cheaters are from Russia then it's a safe bet that most of the the servers in or near Russia are gonna be seeing more of them than say servers from Latin america.

And to top it all off in order to report suspicious activity you have to contact the server host according to the Cry-team. If you do a quick match.... well it's just easier to leave the game and go to another server and try again in my opinion.

Why would I want to waste my time doing somebody else's job anyway?

If they could stop the hacking they would have done it already.

I don't know if this is true but my speculation is that whenever before a prick kills you on killcam i usually see a instant thermal before kill you. Its usually those pricks with highest scores. They usually kill you instanly. I am guessing they probably have that aimbot chess or no recoil or something. which would probably kill you even if you are in armor mode. I think they are alot of them in Crysis 2 and needs to be adressed. I love this game and don't like to see it go to waste because of stupid hackers.

Where you invisible at the time or in non-armor mode?

Because you know you die quickly from SCARs since it only takes 3-5hits in non armor-mode and about 2 hits when your in Cloak. Also there is a module for steady aim which acts like no recoil.

Even if you are in armor mode you roughly die the same amount with it on anyway against a SCAR.

And you said they were using nanovision before they kill you but did you check to see if maybe they had radar on? Most of the time wallhackers don't need nanovision to see you because of their cheat already.

well to answer your question. If I just got out of cloaked I dont count them as hacks. I usually count them when I am nearly full energy in armor mode getting instanly killed by what I am guessing is hacks. I still don't know completely but I would definitly like to know what is causing this unfair advantage. I use radar all the time to know where the enemy are but the reason I say wallhack is because when I am far away I get killed by a prick with a dotted scar. while I am through cloaked far away. These are few but I do get unfair strange deaths. I been playing for hours so I can't keep tract. All I know is when I first got the game which was on released I never encountered any of these strange things I am talking about.


Now once in a while (tell me if you haven't seen this? lol) I see a right before killing me turning on thermal vision, then turning it off right after I die and this is when I am not cloaked. If you don't believe me? Then at least look for these possibilities.

I can record and put it on youtube if you guys want, So I can just put it out there on video instead of explaining to you on forums.

i experienced some odd things, after getting off a succesfull 3 kills, in many games suddenly i die 3 times, the killcam shows that i respawn and pronto dead in 1 sec.... no enemy in sight no gamma burst no nothing.... i dont get it is this a cheat, because i am totally unaware of these things but dying with no enemy winthin 30 feat, and no killcam review....

What pisses me off is that it seems as if there's no announcements regarding the phuck1ng problems we have to endure.

plus what you see in kill cam =/= what cheaters have in their screen i think

and as long as most data is client-side processed => no way to rule out hackers unless they rewrite a large part of mp

you are lagging
i got that from time to time
while the server doesnt send you info of the enemies probably due to lagging, you/other ppl may see each other standing still, and (at your own screen) you can shoot them and get hit markers and they will die and you are rewarded with points, and then once the server stops lagging all these client-side data are sent n the server gives you the feedback of dying
so probably during the lagging 3 other players saw you standing still, shot you and so you died 3 times

most of the times, its just bad lag~ the issue is famous right now, of some servers having lag spikes for as long as 10 seconds, where u can move around and see all the other players just standing there idle, and thats how they see you too, idle and easy to kill. SO, when the server gets out of the lag spike, u die immediately, with nobody close around to kill you. THIS is what happens. and a lot is to be said about the killcam, it is so svcky that nobody can rely on it to tell that someone is using some kind of hack/cheat. sometimes players with the cloak tracker module can see u from afar while your cloaked. that maybe one of the explanations.

so, a tip for you. when the server experiences this kind of lag spike, you quickly go around the map and find the idle players and kill them. one of the indications that its a lag spike, is that your weapon sights go missing and sometimes no bullets come out of your gun. so, find the idle players and melee them to death. actually, when your doing this, the others are doing it to your idle bodies as well. =)
