Just When I Thought It Couldn't Get Worse

Post » Fri Apr 29, 2011 5:49 pm

Again, I'm a complete fool. I suppose I like to be miserable. I tried to play some multi-player again today... and probably got maybe 1 or 2 mediocre connection games in before things went to absolute garbage and I raged out of a damn near 1 frame per second lag fest.

I shut down, calm down... come back, load up single player solo campaign ON EASY (knowing how [censored] the game is solo) only to realize that NOW the opposing bots are even more BEASTLY (what a glaring difference it is, I felt like I was playing the game on hardcoe or something). I don't know if it's because I'm level 10-11 now or if it was some sever side tweak but you know what? Splash Damage...

Brink is a steaming P.O.S. and I don't care how much potential it has. It's a frustrating P.O.S. There are things wrong with this game that have NOTHING to do with online multi-player. There's no excuse for this. It's an abortion, an abomination and your quality control puts Splash Damage on the level of an independent Xbox Live Arcade developer (and I say that not wanting to insult indy developers). Look at the mess you've made! :brokencomputer:

BAD. BAD DOG. LOOK WHAT YOU DID!!!! BAD!!! :nono:

This game will be reviewed by the Angry Nerd one day. I guarantee it!!!

The team AI bots are literally
"doo doo in a stick"

I appreciate the online with teams. But honestly Splash, this game was also marketed as a single player.

Please fix our team AI bots like you mentioned in one of your streamed interviews so I may "enjoy" a single player campaign as well on my off day practice sessions when none of my team is around for a online session. Thanks.

This is exactly how I feel. The campaign difficulties are not different from one another. Easy is just as difficult as Hard. The online rooms are garbage most of the time. I'm really pissed. I thought this was gonna be a great game.

I played several games online, (a couple with bad enough lag so we left.) but it wasn't unplayable as you are making it out to be. They do need to fix the lag that there is, but I find plenty of games that are playable. So someone call the WAHmbulance.

This lag I see in every thread. Is it on PC or consol, or both?

Probably more geared towards consoles, considering PC has dedicated servers.

I've been playing with the freeplay settings to Old Skool and had a full day of lag free matches on 360. Try that... if that don't work for you.. then I don;t know.. cuz it works for me, and it will do for now.
