Wait, when does that happen? I've been massively abusing the new ability to tab out of conversations with certain NPCs, because frankly, I find it hilarious when my character just walks away while someone I don't like its talking to me. I feel like I'm really near the end of the MQ, (already *spoiler* rode a dragon *spoiler*) so it's a bit weird that I haven't gotten this yet.
If thats the case, you've already missed it. It occurs when you meet Paarthunax for the first time.
I refused to kill him. Frankly, my PC is the Dragonborn, and if I ever decide to found a new Empire or something i'll build my own secret service. I'm certainly not going to kill Paarthunax for a crusty old man.
Agreed 100%. The Blades have been waiting for a Dragonborn for so long, and now that they finally have one that can feasibly reinstate the Blades (Or at least recreate the order to some extent) they go "Sorry, we're honor bound and if you don't kill this dragon, we ain't gonna do [censored]." I found it so odd that they are willing to deny the Dragonborn and their duty to protect/serve just so he may go deliver their brand of justice to a dragon who willingly helped you face Alduin. Sure, theres the possibility of treachery, but its not like Dragonborn is a kickass dragon slayer, right?
