Karma does exist (in a way)

For everyone saying you have to play one way and you cant choose how you want to go, I don't agree. You cant "lose" the game unless you die, so really, you have options.

But anyway...

At first I was a little sad to see there was no Karma, but now that I've played a lot, I can see the Karma has been replaced by companions. There are certain companions you need to do nice things with, and certain companions you need to do bad things with. I think its a great system. Like in order to get Strong's affinity perk, you have to do things that certain other companions wouldn't like.

I don't know, I just think its a brilliant game. I'm sure the patches will improve the framerate drops :D

I'm certain you are pretty much evil if you side with the BoS who think Synths and Super mutants should be exterminated because they are abominations.

Karma was idiotic. I'm glad to see it gone. You can be good/bad without some stupid number attached to it.

Hate to break it to you, but everything in the game has "some stupid number" attached to it. The game needs a reference point to know whether you are good or evil, it has no moral compass otherwise.

I think that's the point. Really. In a post apoc world I can't imagine a purely good or evil character. If you want to do good options. Well. You can do them. But there's always will be a different tones of shades and grey.

Speaking vaguely a tad bit. But I mean it gives more freedom. Imo.

karma is somewhat still there, but done differently usually affecting how your companion feels with the choices you make. this concept is commonly seen in most D&D based video games, like Baldur's Gate..

I didn't like karma either. It's stupid that before I could commit crimes with no witnesses, but somehow the universe would know. I finally feel free to play my character how I want to.
