Watching a half naked Victoria model beating Karstaag it was both pleasing and somewhat disturbing. In any case, nice fight. :tops:

Sah,

If only I could express myself......if only......I am bursting here.

Instead, I shall say just WELL DONE Sah, I knew you could do it

Of interest, Competition Adella has higher Mace and armour stats than you used for this.....and it's tempting to let her have a crack at him too. But of course what counts in the end is your skill and experience neither of which Rick can measure up to. Maybe one day.

Why does your mace have such measly enchants compared to your armor and apparel?

hello Cjay :wavey: .......so sorry this one is not used to getting asked questions...........so you have caught this one by surprise......BUT THANKS SO MUCH for asking

the mace was made as a one of and is not the usual configuration ...........was made with the idea that Karstaag has a 25% fire damage weakness

but in saying that to really do any real damage on legendary you would have had to enchanted a super fire weapon and than x it by 75% to get a enchantment that will leave you with a 25% that will deal any damage, we are talking about insane enchanting methods .........the fire damage at the end of the day was for show.......all damage dealt was physical

all smithing on weapons & armor was done using the below ...............all below where made with a potion of Enchanting 25%

blacksmiths apron 31%

blacksmiths gloves 31%

blacksmiths ring 31%

blacksmiths amulet 31%

and a potion of smithing 50%

as for the enchanting witch this one think is your question Cjay........all weapons & armors where enchanted with the below

Black or Grand Soul gem.............Dual enchaining...............and a potion of Enchanting 25%

this one will only use what the game offers will not loop enchanting........or smith a armor to a 4000

its this ones personal opinion that weapon of 400-500damage & 1500 AR max is the perfect balance for playing legendary.....

anything above that and you might as well play expert or master and save your sell the trouble because it will be the same thing

so to answer your question Cjay its simply a result in following a set of personal rules ..............personal RP .............and all of the above

I strongly support this view also......as a fellow Legendary player. My last "fully equipped" char (Adella) had an AR of 1589 with shield, and a Dragonbone mace of about 560 including the 36 point fire enchant.

I find with this set up above level 50 you can tear a single Deathlord apart.....but three at once....as they often seem to come along, can get butt clenching. Meaning exciting of course (cough). I can home brew smithing potions considerably stronger than Sah's stock version (130%) but she somehow gets an extra couple of percent on each Fortify apparel. My enchanting potions max out at about 32%.

Sah....if you can kill Karstaag with no potion use (and no magic healing)........that will be THE most impressive thing I have EVER seen

That will truly be the pinnacle to which I would aspire.......go for it :)

thank you so much Rick :wavey: ............will give it a try .............but will need at least 150pts extra stamina ............it is the key to killing him

part of the beauty of Skyrim is that it will hit you hard .....over and over .....yea a death lord become a formality one on one ....but this is Skyrim.

when you think your on top...it will through another 5 death lords into the mix and say ..your not so fantastic now!

again thanks :hugs: Rick

Sah.......if I may make a suggestion.....something that works for me. Instead of going for a straight health enchant on armour.....you might consider Fortify Healing Rate and Stamina Regen. Reason being that you just need a few seconds avoiding him....doing the old run around and your health and stamina are back up. Whereas with a larger but almost fixed pool of it....once it's gone you're in the poo!

For the same reasons the Lord Stone may be a waste at this level of armour and frost resistance you have built in. I would go with the Lady stone....again for that health and stam regen.

I'm not guaranteeing it against the big fella because I've not been there yet.....but it might be worth a shot.

Good luck :)
