Keeping Morrowind "vanilla-sized map"

Post » Sat Jul 20, 2013 2:09 am

Hello everyone!

I have a question about something that is bothering me since... very long time, I don't remember how long exactly. It's about map. As you know, map in game differs in vanilla Morrowind without expansions and in Morrowind with Tribunal + Bloodmoon installed, although I think that the second addon is to blame in this matter. Nevermind. I would have write some links, but forum won't let me, anyway I hope you know what I mean. My question is - is there any way to keep vanilla-sized map with Bloodmoon, and possibly with Tamriel Rebuil + with stretching its size through MCP?

I want also to say that English is not my first language, so I hope that what I wrote is understandable  .

Do you mean that the proportions are different? I'll take your word for it, in that case, as I can't remember seeing the original map - I did have only Morrowind installed for a brief while, but it's years ago.

It may be best to ask your question in Hrnchamd's Code Patch thread. He probably understands the way the map was programmed better than anyone excepting the original programmers.

Yes, that's what I mean exactly. Map in completly unmodded game (well, that + Tribunal, first exapansion changes nothing in that matter) is bigger in scale than map of the game with Bloodmoon integrated, so, proportions change. I don't like how map look like after this reduction, I'm looking for a way to keep original scale.
