I'm in love with the minutemen castle, it's my primary settlement, and pretty much my home. I care about it more than any character, place, or thing in the game

I'm told that there will be conflict between the factions towards the end of the game. The Brotherhood of Steel are my preferred guys.

In short my question is, can i keep the castle if i side with the brotherhood of steel? Even if i have to slaughter everyone in it and replace with scribes, all i care about is the structure.

Is it necessary to side with the minutemen if i want to keep it?

You keep the castle.

does it matter if i choose to side with the institute instead? they're my second option at the moment.

will there be any losing of settlements at all in the faction wars?

You lose settlements if you do teagan's dumb quests. though I think it's a bug because the settlements become property of the brotherhood and you are in the brotherhood.

You never lose the castle as any faction. It's hard to answer this.
