when I went into camp searchlight, ED-E would get to the middle of the town with me and freeze. if I sent him home to lucky 38 casino, he would just stay. I tried four times by going back to a save before camp searchlight, and each time we got to that location, he would eventually stop following.

the same thing happened in the quarry junction. I had cleared that area (yep!) and found him frozen in the middle of the quarry. so I went back to the last save (i saved before going into the quarry...smart move!) and I had him wait, recleared the quarry and then went back to ED-E and since I had not brought him to that area, when I told him to stop waiting he was good to go.

NOW it has happened at Vault 34. I went into the vault, and started down the area.....and then realized that he had stayed by the door! I had to walk back 30 seconds of backtracking to find him and he was at the door. this svcks. I don't know how much damage ED-E does but his perk ROCKS. I don't want to not have him as a follower.

anyone else have this problem?

so no one else had this problem? I read that ED-E disappears for some people. I wonder if it is because he stopped following.
