I decided to dust off Skyrim and play it again, but have encountered the issue of the R key not working... I've searched the forums here and on Steam to find multiple threads, but no actual solution. I haven't remapped any keys... Im not running any mods.... I just want to play the game; ie, store items in containers, plant evidence on mobs per quests, put books on shelves, etc, etc, etc....

Any suggestions, especially ones that resolve the issue, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Check the key mapping and remap the r key or try another key to see if it works.
