Just saw this and thought it might help out those that use the left hand for mouse control. You can't bind the keys yourself, you're stuck with the config the modder created but I would have definetly used it if I was still using my left hand to control my mouse. You don't need to do anything apart from installing 2mods, so fairly simple. And it works in all all instances, game, inventory and workshop...I sort of envie you guys a bit, now

I'm glad to see that people are getting into the control mapping code. It's nice that this mod allows the new mapping to show in on-screen prompts, but it's a shame that it doesn't allow for custom mapping. I can't see myself playing with the key layout that this mod sets up, and it doesn't sound easy to adapt it to one's own desired mapping.

I'll stick with my Auto Hotkey set-up for now, and see what this week's beta patch fixes. I'll also keep an eye on this mod though, in the hopes that a later version will allow custom mapping, if the patch doesn't clean up keybinding.

As I understood it, it's a set key mapping and doesn't look like the modder is going to make 50different ones, he just made that one for himself and to prove to everyone that it was possible IG so Beth didn't have that excuse anymore. Seemed as easy/complicated as AHK to me, you have to tell it what keys are which and set them up individually. From my perspective it also prevents any kind of possible conflics between OS Game and 3rd party soft as you're basically harcoding your key map to the game itself.

Totally understand why you would stick to AHK as you've already customized it to the way you like it and yeah am hopping that AZERTY keys will be supported with next patch as well

My concerns with this versus AHK are:

1. It depends on F4SE. Longer term that's fine, eventually I'll probably be loading Fallout 4 through the script extender when a mod I want needs it. Early on though, every game patch will break the functionality, so I try to avoid the script extender for my first playthrough.

2. It seems a little harder to tweak since I need a third-party program to edit the .SWF files. Maybe it's easy once I get ahold of the program that the modder recommends.

Anyway, I downloaded the mod to have a closer look, and I'll probably give it a go (editing it for my own keybinds) just for my own education about the new file formats.

Keep us informed on what you think, just tried out patch, looks like going to have to learn a new language. Beth managed to royally tick me off.
