Khajiit are way cooler than they get credit for.

Sounds like the same situation it was with me and Khajiit.

My first TES game being Oblivion, Khajiit just looked silly to me and I couldn't really take them seriously. After awhile of becoming familiar with Oblivion and the Khajiit, I made one... and now most my characters have been Khajiit since then. :o

OT: I would hate to stereotype all Khajiit as Theives, Drug-dealers, or Assassins; there's a pretty good speculation that the Khajiit in Elsweyr are much different in being very strict law-abiding citizens.

The khajiit are actually very strong, with their claws that do almost as much damage as war-hammers.They're also much cleaner than most of the nords I see,and in the time period skyrim is mimicking, everyone had fleas. The khajiit don't seem trustworthy because the are very cautious, and need to protect themselves in a harsh rugged land.

The nords of skyrim do not like showers.

Instead, they prefer to throw some mead on the skin which makes them feel much better.

And Khajiit are badass, have you seen the badass poll thread? The most BA khajiit I've ever seen is in it.

Edit- I said Badass so many times...

Jhed'ahk is a creation of mine and its cool seeing him in the lead so far. :D He is the most badass khajiit I've ever been able to create.

I couldn't play one in Oblivion simply because it was absolutely impossible to create an unique looking Khajiit in the game. It would't look different from the rest of the yellow cats no matter what you did with the sliders and options.

My bosmer arcane archer heartily agrees - she's currently adventuring around Skyrim and Solstheim with two followers: Kharjo and J'Zargo. She loves her heavy-armor-clad kitties.

I like the Khajiit, because they are interesting, chill, and talk funny. They share the place as my second favorite race, along with the Altmer :)

I thought the same way too once, but that was another reason, after awhile I actually could distinguish between the different Khajiit NPC's, they all started to feel more... human to me, almost as If I was a Khajiit and no longer the guy to think "All Khajiit look the same".

At least to me, I thought I made my Khajiit characters in Oblivion look quite unique and personalized. :o

Indeed, Khajiit are awesome! My top three favorite races are Argonian, Dunmer, and Khajiit. I love the male voices of the Argonians and Khajiit in Oblivion; it's suits both races so well. The voice actor, Jonathon Bryce, also does the voices for Nord and Orc males.

Maybe if we didn't have the kittens to play as then I would like them but they look way too tame for my tastes, especially to be a "beast race". If we had the Cathay-raht jaguar men to play as and they looked the part then they would probably be 1 of my favorite races...it would be amazing if we were able to play as the Ka Po'Tun as I love tigers and would love to play as tiger men.

Every time I talk to Khajiit in Skyrim I think of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JsbSolUF5c :P

Why does the Khajiit Night Eye power have to be so blurry around the periphery? Why did the designers do that? And did they make it that way on purpose? It's really frustrating.

I think the Night Eye effect was better in Oblivion but now I can't remember it, exactly. It's been a while since I played Oblivion.

Because they look like animals. I don't get it, personally. Seems like a pointless thing to throw a tantrum over.

If your apples have heads then there's something wrong with them. :teehee:

99% of actual beasts don't fit the definition of "beastly". The animal kingdom does not tend towards bodybuilders, so I find most people's use of that word bizarre.

ha nice

The first 2 definitions of beast are:

-an animal; especially : a wild animal that is large, dangerous, or unusual

- an unkind or cruel person

The Khajiit don't really fit the description for either. Beast doesn't mean big and bulky, beast means wild and dangerous which the Khajiit we see in Skyrim aren't. I just want them to look more ferocious or at least give us the ability to create one that does, even Orcs look more ferocious and "beastly" then they do which is sad.
