Those look cool, but its definitely not what a Khajiit would traditionally wear. That just looks like a cat in knights armor, whereas a Khajiit would probably have a arabic or indian style to suit the deserts and jungles they live in.
Yh. totally agree. Only I'd say Indian & Persian as opposed to Arabian.
India is made up of vast desert and jungle so also fits the climate of the Khajiit. Whats more is the Khajiit names sound Indian. Even the 'iit ending is Indian such as Harjit, Ranjit, Sarjit etc. That and the use of Ra and the ending of 'j' & ja such as the Indian name Raja.
The golden lion / tiger is the mascot used throughout India. The lion is also used on the flag of Sri Lanka which is the island country just of the coast. In the Indian language they say Shera for lion / tiger.

The Indian armor from the original post is of Rajputs from Rajasthan which is a desert state
Pictures of Rajasthan (Khajiitstan, lol). Camels probably carrying silks and spices (or moonsugar, lol)

Indian armor although uses chainmail combined with leather and plate armor is very light in comparison to the armors of European knights which use heavy metal plates. This is because the Indian combat style is different.
Indian warriors such as the rajput are higher caste and rely on light armor and advanced swordsmen skills will be supported by archers from the lower castes. Their armor uses chainmail with leather or light plates as it gives them more freedom to move. Also the state of Rajasthan is hot desert.
i
thing is, these khajiit are not in a desert/jungle right now. i'd say they could change their armor styles to fit their surroundings.
Not necessarily. I once did a job at the Japanese ambassadors house in London and his personal bodyguard had a full suit of Samurai armor in his room. He was fully trained as a Samurai hence him having it. Just because he was in London it didn't make him go and buy a full set of European knight armor. Whats more is European armor probably would suit his combat style not his honor & pride.
