Khajiit Beliefs and Politics

I have several questions to pose to any lore buffs who would enjoy sharing. I'll number them and try to keep them short to help with answering. I am by no means well versed in lore, but have included references where appropriate (thank you Imperial Library!) Most of my questions are specific to the Khajiit, a race I have neglected in previous playthroughs of the games and therefore have little knowledge of. My questions are:

Politics
1. In Codus Callonus'http://www.imperial-library.info/content/oblivion-mixed-unit-tactics, the initial Khajiit raiding party are referred to as "tree-cutting teams". This implies an organized group that was either familiar to the Imperials, Khajiit, or Bosmer. Knowing the Bosmers reverence towards the trees of their homeland, was this practiced by the Khajiit on a regular basis or only in times of war? Because the Bosmer have shown a tendency to deal in lumber if there is a profit to be had (A Dance in the Fire), do they react with aggression more due to the theft than their "strange Bosmeri religion"?

2. In The Elsweyr Confederacy entry of the 1st PGE, it is mentioned that the Mane's palace in Torval is constructed of Valenwood Oak timbers. Would Tenmar Forest timber be of any use to the Khajiit or because of the forests production of Moon Sugar is it off limits to such practice (as mentioned in the PGE)? However, one of the causes for the Five Year War is the raiding of Bosmeri timber caravans by Khajiti bandits. This would suggest some native timber industry within Elsweyr?

Religion
3. With Azura being a dominant figure in the Khajiti pantheon, and "her" bigendered nature as a Daedric Prince, do the Khajiit refer to Azura as a male or female?

4. Does Magnus hold a similar place for the Khajiit as in other pantheons of Tamriel? What I mean is, do the Khajiit see the sun as the hole created by Magnus as he fled the creation of Mundus or do they hold a different view of celestial bodies?

5. Finally, I have found mention of eclipses in lore, but the only specifics are related to http://www.imperial-library.info/content/daggerfall-sage. Another stated that Daedric armor should never be fashioned during an eclipse, but does not specify lunar or solar. I am curious if a solar eclipse is possible due to the unique nature that http://www.imperial-library.info/content/cosmology? Since we can see stars through the "shadows" of the twin moons, doesn't that also mean we could see the sun?

Thank you for joining this discussion and I hope other inquiring minds will learn new lore as well. I know I will learn a great deal.

Thanks. You were right, it was very helpful. I certainly missed a great resource.

To others who may be curious, Azurah (Azura) is definitely female and Magrus (Magnus) was given the sun. Seems to imply the sun predates Magrus, therefore it needed to be added to his sphere.

I especially liked the mental image of the Khajiit being tasked to "climb Khenarthi's breath to set the moons back in their courses" should either fail.

Really good, thanks again!

I thought the sun was created when Magnus fled creation, tearing a hole in the sky where magic poured into Mundus?

That's one perspective. This is another. Their commonalities are the basis of the Monomyth.

Thanks I'm not much of a Lore buff, so as many points of view as possible are useful for me to learn from.

There. Focus on that. Many Points of View. That sums up the mythology and theology of the Elder Scrolls. There are many conflicting creation stories and pantheons.

This is the part that's tricky - they all happened. They're all true. Even when they contradict.

and "her" bigendered nature as a Daedric Prince,

Slight point of order - Azura seems to identify (for those who might not know, "bigender" referes to identity, not to physical nature, in which case the Daedric Princes in general would more properly be referred to as intersix, if one could say such labels apply at all.) pretty much solidly as female, unless there's a reference otherwise I'm not familiar with; judging from how they appear to mortals, Boethiah and Mephala are bigender (according even to the proper definition of identifying as one or the other at different times, rather than both at once), Azura is not.

...Maybe, to be fair. All we know is how they appear to mortals, which may or may not have anything to do with gender identity - we don't even know if Daedra have those at all.

(Sorry, just a subject I feel a bit nitpicky about. )

No need to apologize, you stated the point better than I could. I will defend my use of bigender only to the point that I was disregarding their sixuality. That does not mean I was correct in my terms however. I feel we might focus specifically on the appearance of their secondary characteristics, because (as you put it) they seem rather loose with their gender.

I must say Vehk may be one of the few who would be willing to share knowledge of their primary characteristics. In detail.
