I wanted to start playing Skyrim again after almost 2 years. However my khajiit character has black eyes (upper pic). It's really creepy. This character is a restart of my first ever Skyrim char (from the first save I have) and should have green eyes. This even happen when starting new characters (lower pic) It only affects khajiit (flipped through chargen and loaded an old Altmer alt) as seen below:

I have an ATI Radeon 4600series video card.

What I have tried:

Removing all the installed mods

Opening the race menu

Rollback the video drivers

Update the video drivers

Turned off anti-aliasing in game

Turned of anti-aliasing in the Catalyst Control Center

Clean reinstall of the game

Deleting the ini files

And the problem persists.

Could someone please help me out?

Try to delete your Skyrim ini files. (Skyrim.ini - SkyrimPrefs.ini)

You said in your first post, the save is a character restart from your previous skyrim playthrough.

So your problem could be related to your previous save.

What happens if you start a new character ???
