Wow, I never realized how much Orcs in Oblivion looked like Shrek. They definitely looked better in Morrowind, and even better now.

Going to have to buy new underwear now, 'cos that khajiit looks AWESOME and I sort of had a little accident.

Time to get a litter box.

I never played a khajiit in Oblivion, and only once in Morrowind.
..and no more green gummy bear Orcs.
I will definately play each of these now.

Yay, my major fears about the Khajiit are gone and I'm liking what I see! The fears were: ape-like face like in Everquest II (wasn't much of a real fear since EQII cat people are pretty terribly designed) and that they would go all super deformed Morrowind style. We have yet to see the legs, but at the least I don't think they'll be as wacky as Morrowind. I'm hoping for more humanoid legs with plantigrade paws (not spray painted feet like Oblivion).

I think it's funny how they used fur armor for the screenshot, which evidently confused a couple people in this topic. The parts were he has exposed fur appear to be his ears, his face and neck, the sides of his upper chest, his elbows, and his belly? I'm not sure if he's wearing fur armor or if his thighs are uncovered too.

Like another person said in the topic, I wonder if those face tufts hanging down are part of the Khajiit face options in the same way facial hair is an option for the more human-like races.

Paws instead of humanoid feet is doubtful since we can see thy have fingers instead of paws (fair enough I suppose as it would be hard to hold something in a paw) and having normal hands and paws for feet would look kinda weird but who knows?

They can have plantigrade paws. Paws don't have to be digitigrade.

The khajit is not wearing fur armor. He is wearing a helm, metal armor, leather bracers, and what appears to be a leather skirt. Any fur you see is his fur. I don't know where you're seeing fur armor.

Most likely just a common bandit khajit wearing light armor.

I wonder why they didn't show the lower half of the Khajitt's body. Maybe they're still expermenting on the Feet. For all we know the foot could be a claw foot and not a normal type foot.

love the Khajiit, not so savvy with the bow. looks like a block of wood with a string on it.... I am usually pretty positive about the things they post, but the bow is one thing that I'm iffy on...

There are many different bows in the game. That's probably one of the weak bows.

Okay, leather armor with fur aspects.

I very much think that it's not his fur sticking out from the plates of his pauldrons (that would be extremely uncomfortable) or from the end of his bracers. The more I think about it the more I think those are his thighs though.

I'm guessing it's a bottom-level bow that was designed to look basic - there is detail on it - look at the string tied around the top. There'll be many other bows.

Honestly, the bow in the picture looks similar to an unpolished oak bow I made a while back. His hand probably covers the leather grip.

A bow doesn't need to be recurve to look like a bow.

well they are cats so the logical conclusion is that if they had paws they would be digitigrade. Of course this is fantasy so anything is possible. And if it were plantigrade isn't that more like a normal humanoid foot than a catlike paw anyway?
As I said before though who knows? It's all speculation right now, I'm just drawing my own conclusions, you don't have to agree with them.

I had a khajit warrior in OB named Lion-o, but I just couldn't play him. Khajit just looked too goofy and cartoonish until now.

Also the animations wasnt the best either so it wasnt really that great of an experience. I hope they actually walk and move a unique way since they are suppose to be "agile"

I hope so! I am guessing it was a weaker one, but you never can tell until you play the game.

Actually it's best to keep logic out of it because logically digitigrade feet aren't anatomically sound on a bipedal creature like a Khajiit. It's purely a matter of how you prefer it to look. I prefer plantigrade but I'm not going to try the play the anatomy card. They can't please everyone. At the least I can say I love what I see so far. And yeah we don't have to agree, but I still think it's fun discussing things like this even if not everyone agrees. :)

The Khajiit looks pretty good - it may even persuade me to play as one as I could never get enthused about them in Morrowind or Oblivion.

Actually you bring up a good point, I can't remember ever playing as a Khajiit in any of the games  However, I will probably make one in Skyrim now.

Though I will eventually try all the races, the orcs look 100000000000000x better. It has everything I wanted. Darker green skin instead of radioactive green being principle of my wishes.... :celebration:

I'm neutral over the khajitt though it's leaning towards positive.
