Khajit Caravans stock 4,000 Gold? : V

I saw on YouTube where a guy said Khajit Caravan Merchants stock 4,000 Gold per day. Is this true for all 3 Caravans or was he just trolling?
My level 25 Warrior (52 Speech) got a Staff a while back with selling price of around 2,700 Gold and just could not find anyone to sell to without getting cheap out.

This guy must have done the thieves guild radiant quest that boost the gold from fence up to 4000g, and khajiit caravan become fence after those quest too. Or he has perks in speech and have invest in those caravan.

So normally, do they just have as much Gold as every other Merchants? 51? 501? 751?

Yes. If you restore the thieves guild, you'll have 4 merchants with under 1000 gold and 3 merchants with 4k gold. I never thought to check the caravans though.

yes, they usually get only... 750 gold or so.

sooo, if you want to sell something for such a high price, you will need to buy something first.

If you do the side quests for the thieves guild you will get a city specific mini quest for each major hold except Riften. To get these you need to do 5 side quests targeted in the specific hold. After completion of these you get extra fences. The Kajhiit quest is given by the guild fence in the Flagon after you completed 2 city quests I think. Any and all merchants you pick up doing these quests will have 4K gold.
