Khajit claws + Fists of Steel perk?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 10:09 pm

So Khajit unarmed attacks do what? 20 damage? Added to the Fists of Steel perk (and an unarmed+dmg enchant) I'm thinking an unarmed Khajit in heavy armor could do some seriously devastating damage.

Does anyone have the numbers on how much armor rating dragonbone (or ebony) legendary armor gives?

It is an option, once I was making ebony and a dragon attacked all i did was made some ebony gloves and attack it. was doing around 70 dmg for me.

Fists of Steel perk only factors in the BASE armor rating of gloves. Improving via smithing does not help. That said, with enchanting you can cap Unarmed damage at 68 as a Khajiit.

Really? Care to explain how I can out box enemies using only my gauntlets then? Against dragons I can punch them to death in about 2 mins.

Read the link I posted. I am playing a Khajiit monk atm and have been trashing dragons for awhile now. Level 26 and I have about 40 unarmed damage.

This is what I was talking about, I had already disenchanted these gloves. We'll see how things pan out end-game, I might play around with an unarmed class for a while.

I hear the damage doesn't scale well end game, but honestly I think that just means you don't one-shot everything. I do 68 damage with super-smithed daggers on my main guy so I'm sure you'll be fine. Just make sure your character is built like a tank.

Also, Duel Flurry and Duel Savagery work with hand-to-hand, though you can only have fists out for the perks to work naturally. Since you presumably won't be leveling One-Handed you'll need to train it to get access to these perks. I use the Companion Follower free training exploit and pretend that I am leveling One-Handed (instead of nothing) with unarmed attacks so I don't feel like a cheater lol.
