No. I really did not like kids in Fallout. Though it doesn't make much sense, having nothing but advlts and no kids, making it impossible to reproduce, I prefer they keep it like in the other games.

Haha thats a good one. Training a kid to do my bidding... but i agree, there can really only be one dovakiin, and he does not share his seed!

It's not Fable, it's not a "life sim"..... and, for that matter, unless you're one of the "I play one character for 400hours+", I doubt that the majority of players will spend close to 9 months of in-game time with a single character. :)

Correction 99%. I've never played Fable. The reason that a large chunk of the game revolves around bringing up kids and having relationships is precisley why I have no interest in it.

Large chunk? IIRC it was entirely optional. Unless they changed that majorly in fable 3 which i never played.

No. Also if the game has any relationships they shouldn't go that far.

I admit I've never played any of them. The fact that it included all this relationship and kids stuff put me off getting into the series properly.

As an option, not mandatory, not related to the story, yes. For me romance/kids/marriage/brothels are on the same level of added value, so once they added kids, I wouldn't protest them adding the others.

Now that would be an interesting thing to see :D
Seriously, kids are annoying as hell (cough ~Fallout~ cough), why would I want to be the source of my own vexation...

Epic adventure romance works. Epic adventure domesticity? I... have a really hard time picturing that :).

Voted maybe, but I really don't think this can work in a TES game. You'd need a storyline stretching over many years, probably with gaps to allow for all the growing-up.

It would have worked fine in DA2 which featured a safe domestic base of operations and intervals of up to 3 years between chapters. Unless they change the structure of TES drastically (which I suppose they might :)) I think something like this would be unworkable.

Well there wasn't much there or even much focus on it. Giving them the occasional gift or rescuing your dumb kid from a cave or having six pretty much sums it up and you didn't have to do it a all.
I think you just dont like fable ;)

I'd love to have the option to have kids. For those that don't want it, they don't have to do it. That's what it's called an "option". drrr

Kids are confirmed if I remember correctly(probably got it wrong) but if done correctly and they don't talk I'd be fine or just have small one liners and not become the overly arrogant buggers they were in Fo3 I'd be fine... For Crap however, I do realise that TES has never had Toilets... What do the people do take a dump in the streets?
