go soak yourself if your in favor of wanting Killstreaks...then forget buying the game...you won't find them here and we dont wanna listen to u whine about how this game isnt like MW(which to most of us makes it superior before it has even been given to us lowly gameplayers)

that is all(if u didnt catch that...i said NO)

Take it easy man.. I don't even want kill-streaks... >.>

i got really upset when I was doing really well in MW2 and then some chopper came along which wasnt even human controlled and it killed me. This happens to everyone several times. To be honest I hated the killstreaks and I think it ruined the game and made it Frustrating.

no killstreaks, these makes the game focus on kills (like everyone said above :D). The only reward a player should get is xp, simples. Killstreaks are bad, and i think are only in one game franchise...

MW2 Killstreaks:

1. You mow down a bunch of people with your P90. As a reward, you get a UAV recon.

2. You shoot down another bunch of people, as you know where they're hiding due to your UAV. You get a Helicopter.

3. You win the game on kills by a huge amount, as your heli killed everyone else for you while you hid in a corner.

Killstreaks 2:

1. Your ally gives you UAV recon. You get a Care Package (?) for a killstreak reward as you know where the enemies are hiding.

2. With your new Predator Missile (?), you kill a heap of people. New reward: AC-130

3. You shoot down the entire enemy team from your bomber, multiple times. You then end the game with a Mini-Nuke (?) while you're ahead.

Deathstreaks Good:

1. You are a newb, and you get killed a heap by pros.

2. You get a deathstreak and a health bonus, which give you a better chance to survive.

3. You end up doing ok, and the game is more balanced for you.

Deathstreaks Bad:

1. You are a new player, and kill yourself a heap of times.

2. You get a deathstreak and a health bonus, and manage to do ok despite your complete ignorance of the way the game works and tendency to flame anyone who kills you.

3. You still come last, but you [censored] the game up for everyone else due to your constant flaming and refusal to die on cue.

Kill streaks could be fun if you could use them like a mutator (Unreal tournament series) could add some fun to the mix for custom servers and games. But so far what I have seen you do not need killstreaks to make this game fun it would most likely hinder some of the game play since some of the spaces are cramped inside buildings almost completely. and most of the killstreaks in MW2 you have to have some outside to even use more then half of them, and even be effective

Killstreaks like that would ruin the game, I probably wouldn't even buy it.

I just hope to see some kind of announcer screaming something like killing spree, assist spree, objective spree. Or something comparable.

I don't think that there should be killstreaks, but something like bonuses which benefit the team.
Example: Medic revives 5 people in one life. His revive syringes get a boost and give downed allies 10% extra health (Just a random idea with random numbers)

It makes me angry and disappointed that MW2 - a game that is extremely unbalanced from everything from it's weapons, to overall gameplay, and arguably has the most rude, obnoxious, and overall bad online community - has become the game to which other games are compared to, and measured by.

I know this angers and frustrates me to know end. I think the reaosn Mw2 has become the game in which people compare and emasure other FPS's is because MW2 and most the COD games are played by alot of people that dont usually play FPS's online because its easy to pick up and isnt really any strategy involved you just run and gun. Sure the game sold alot of copies but if you speak to the gaming community most people look down on that game because of all its inbalance issues and glitches like you said it really dissapoints me that this is the standard people want

indeed, it can't get any more unrealistic than mw2, with it's spawn all around the map system>.<

I know I hate random spawns it throws strategy right out the window and turns the FPS into just a run and gun no thinking just shoot people gameplay.
