Okay, I was messing around on top of tenpenny tower, killing guards while I'm falling off and such. And I remember shooting tenpenny off the tower with my gauss, so I decide to try it with Fawkes. It works, but he only returns each time I launch him. He just reappears upon the tower within the angle he was launched from. It took 188 MF cells from my Gauss Rifle to kill him. Most hits were Sneak attack critical, and the gun kept its condition the whole time (I glitched anchorage guns to stay with me) And I had 100 Energy weapons. I think somebody needs to nerf Fawkes' health, he's got more health than a 5 behemoths Put together... :mellow:

I tried killing fawkes. He's pretty tough though and I think that only easy way to kill him is from a great distance like tenpenny tower. My wife reminds me though "why do you even think about killing him" but the answer is just because!

Oh wow! I tried killing him once, big mistake. My Question is, how much XP does killing Fawkes necessarily give you? I mean he's got more health than anything I've ever encountered.

he has more than 18000 health i know because the 44 magnum(cheat) does 9000 damage i shot him twice and he still wasn't dead

He probably has some armor that reduced that damage quite a bit.

Never tried to kill him, but I did think about saving then killing him just to see how much ammo it took.

Yup... It's REALLY hard to kill him. And my Gauss deals 100 per shot, I've got 100 energy weapons, and most of my shots were sneak attack criticals.

I've never liked Fawkes, gaining him as a companion means you just get to sit back while he soaks the damage like a sponge and still shrugs it off after the battle. It takes the survival aspect out of a post-apocalyptic survival gaming experience.

any one else wonder how fawkes can pronounce words properly even though he has no lips?

Fawkess is hard to kill because had special actor Effect "MQ08FawkesDR" which will increase his damageresist to 50 but in game when click on Fawkess using consoles "Getavinfo damagresist" his damageresist will twice to 100...

Yeah, it does kind of get boring with him after a while because you can't die with him even while I'm playing on the hardest level. Now I usually just go it alone unless I need a pack brahmin lol .

Fawkes is freaking awesome. I love the dude. I'm also lazy so I love to watch him walk in and tear stuff up.

I killed Dogmeat on one of my characters for the two followers bug. He took for freaking ever too. Than I did one of the DLCs and it won;t let me have two again so now I killed Dogmeat for nothing.
