Hi, just for grins I decided to see what (if anything) would happen if I killed Mr. House after he'd given me the quest to go to the fight at Hoover Dam. I responded that I wasn't ready yet and received the message to return to him when I was ready. Instead I headed down into the basemant of the Lucky 38 and killed House, then I went out into the Strip and killed Yes Man outside the Tops (go go Paladin Toaster!).

Soooo...have I hopelessly screwed myself over? It's not a desperate situation as I have plenty of good saves that override these actions, but I'm curious if it's even possible now to advance the story any further. I haven't gone back to Hoover Dam since saving Kimball, so there may be something happening there, but somehow I doubt it.

Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance if you can provide useful advice!

You can't kill Yes Man, he'll just hop over to another securitron.

OK, I didn't realize that. So should I look for him outside the Tops? Or will he be somewhere else?
