Er, uh, true, touche. But still, make a questing party. In the few campaigns I was trying there was a "type X for questing group" spam in /zone once in a while. You don't have to be social beyond joining the group, just tag along and stay in safety.

Games have always challenged me IRL - the most obvious is becoming more skilled and having faster reflexes, but they also challenge you to become more social - us gamers are a horribly unsocial lot so this is a good thing.

Why? He was running around in the open, alone, in a quest town. If he wanted the game to protect him, he wouldn't be in Cyrodiil.

He knew the dangers, just like I did. There were times I had to make myself vulnerable to do the quests, I wouldn't have been upset if someone killed me. It's all part of the game.
