Altmer does not equal Thalmor, I wish people would understand that, they are VERY different, most Altmer HATE the thalmor far more than any other race could considering the first place invaded by the thalmor was their own home.. Thalmor is a political faction that took over and are extremists.

I have nothing against other elves. Dunmer are cool. we share a border.

That was the Falmer, not the Altmer who did that. The Altmer were still on teh summerset isles being smart and leaving the rest of tamriel alone, as well as stoppig the Slode and Maomer from ever reaching mainland tamriel. If anyhting, the Altmer (and Bosmer) are mostly heroes, they are the only reason the Maomer and Slode never reached mainland Tamriel.
