Killing annoying NPCs...

I killed Dirge before I just used FUS RO DAH and he had a heart attack 3 seconds later. Then I was disbanded from the thieves guild for his heart attack.

That just may be enough inspiration to make a mod for that. If it hasn't already been made...AND if I even have the mental ability to do that.

Yeah it would be really cool if they did that. Not that I would use it as I play on PS3 and have a Mac.

I wish Cicero could be killed. Can't believe no one else has mentioned him.

I killed him in one of the Dark Brotherhood quests. But he didn't annoy me really, I found him to be a complex and interesting character. Sure the whole jester act can get old fast, but the talk he does while I am hiding in the mother's coffin is one of the highlights of the game for me.

I did kill, ...well scratch that..."arranged" for the priest of Talos and Nazeem to be possessed by a fury demon so that they began attacking everyone on sight until they were eventually killed by the guards. Fun.

I would see all of clan Battleborn dead, they sent hired thugs after me... Thugs!? And Olfrid was in my house.

Nazeem too that F****** C***! This made me laugh though:

There are 4 videos on that page - none of which seem to be related to Skyrim.

If you leave him there long enough, you'll probably get a note from the kidnappers offering you twice as much gold to come and get him.

(This is going to be a bit of venting, thank goodness for mods, also includes spoilers)

This is probably why Riften is the worst hold in my opinion. Riften takes all of my Pet Peeves with characterization and corruption, before mushing it altogether, and then giving it a rundown, gloomy atmosphere with some of the most arrogant NPCs I have ever met. At first there was Maul, but after paying him to talk he wasn't really that bad. Whilst there are some good people around like Mjoll, who’s actually trying to remove the corruption in Riften, as well as Shopkeepers like Madesi the Argonian, there’s no real way of removing the Corruption in Riften. You can't help Mjoll with her "Corruption" problem, you're mean to deal with it and join the Thieves guild. Even if you are playing as a Strict Warrior-mage with a very low pickpocket/sneak skill Brynjolf STILL thinks you'd make a good thief.

Well, I don't want to join the thieves guild! I want to be able to do the same thing with the Dark Brotherhood and actually have a questchain that allows you to destroy them, and to also Evict the black-briars from their own home! Yes, I understand the whole idea of "If you attack the black-briars or the Thieves guild its a major crime", but even if you've stopped the world-eating monstrosity, you are now wearing the SKIN AND BONES of Ancient monsters, you kick dragons and Dremora around like cans on a sidewalk and have obtained every single Daedric artifact and learned every single shout there is possible, you still can't do anything to stop the corruption in Riften.

Heck, not even MARKARTH was this bad! At least you can fix the problems in Markarth by killing Madanach and his lackeys in the mine, and you can also kill Eola and the rest of the cannibals as well at the end of her questchain. But with Riften, you're meant to just "Deal with it, yo", and it destroyed my sense of Immersion and appreciation for the game.

God, dammit.

Eh, personally I think Markarth *is* just as bad, since IMO the Silver-Bloods are just as unworthy of my help, they and their lackeys are the ones who framed me for murder and paid off the guards to put me away no matter what I said or did. But I chose them anyway both times I did that quest because I figured the reward would be better for me personally, which it was. Both options were equally repugnant so I didn't see any reason not to pick the one I thought would benefit me most. I am keeping well clear of that quest for as long as I can this time, I don't even want it in my journal. I really hate that quest and it's one reason I've never developed any real love for Markarth. There are a handful of NPCs there that I really like and I adore Argis as a follower if I get him for a housecarl but overall I cringe every time I have to go there for any reason.

But I totally agree about the Thieves Guild, I did it once to see how it played out but I don't enjoy playing that type of character and in general I didn't like dealing with the NPCs involved. The ones I did like either had no possibility of interacting with me other than offering training or a few intriguing one-liners that never went anywhere, or else they stopped interacting except to give me the brush-off once the questline was finished. And I was left dealing with a bunch of obnoxious subordinates who still treated me like a rookie who needed to earn their respect. Delvin was the best of those in attitude IMO but his quests are no more interesting or varied than Vex's.

I would love the opportunity as a "good" character to take on the Guild and bring them down or at least run the worst of them out of town. And Maven Black-Briar needs to go for a long walk on a short pier, preferably one overlooking a boiling pit of lava.

Now why would you want to go and ruin a perfectly good pit of lava like that? :o

I normally join the Stormcloaks/Ralof at the start to give it that Imperial Officer who wants my head hanging on Helgen Gate.

Nazeem, killed this [censored] with my every single character.

I hate this bastard, I long to kill him. I haven't yet cos my main is pretty much a do-gooder, but I think I'll have to darken him a bit lol. Can't wait to play the Destroyer - in Morrowind and Oblivion I've had this character who's sole purpose is to 'kill' everything in the entire world. That's gonna be so much fun :D

I always get trouble for killing guards who make annoying comments..."aw did someone steal your sweetroll", that just cost you your life mr. guard

Yeah there are too many essential NPCs, some of which I don't understand why. I so want to kill Maven Black-Briar.

I am currently playing an evil character who is the leader of the Dark Brotherhood and I've been pondering about killing guards but those who make a comment about she being in the Dark Brotherhood. Loose ends and all that.

It is sure to create a mess in the different holds as I am looking to avoid paying the bounty. My character's main source of income is the money she wins from the contracts given by the Night Mother and paying 1000+ gold at every turn for a bounty will leave her broke.

Hehe, Naazem is very annoying, I was planning to kill him at some point in my current game but yesterday I was doing a contract for the DB and the target was at The Drunken Huntsman and as I go in, I see little old Naazem sitting on a table having a drink. He made his usual cloud district comment, so I killed him, the target and even Elrindir lost his head for attacking me. Jenassa only said "I am staying out of this", smart woman. But she doesn't knows that she will be my sacrifice to Boethiah later down the road...

For my latest character, I went a little passive-agressive on them. I am playing a thief/mage that has just discovered the joys of vampirism. So at some point I picked Maven's pocket for her house key, I now I use her for my blood fix. I am using a vamp mod that requires you to feed multiple times to return to level 1 (Vampirism Overhaul), so I can feed on her 2-3 times without killing her since she is essential (others you have to be careful not overfeed). So now whenever she makes her snarky comments, I just think to myself, "See you tonight bloodbag..."

As for the annoying guards, I pickpocket whatever I can, but especially their shields (if not in use, I don't have the perk to pp equipped items yet). I get a smug satisfaction thinking that when they return to the barracks and have to return the shield to the quartermaster, they are stunned to find they lost it and have to pay the quartermaster a lost item fee. I just assume guard shields are given by the quartermaster since you can't really buy them anywhere. Maybe as a signature, I'll reverse pp a sweet roll after taking their stuff. Hmmm... something to think about.

Mjoll - she is not really annoying, but since my ambition is the Guildmaster, I find her "war" against the guild amusing. So I'll marry her. "Honey, I just made Guildmaster of the thieves guild. What are you going to do about it. Divorce me? Hahahahahahaha."

Nazeem. Not sure what I will do about him. Frenzy target? Can I burn down his supposed "Farm"? Maybe there's a mod for that.

Heimsker. Silly little Talos shrieker... Is there a Silence spell - permanent silence spell? Maybe there's a mod for that.

I disposed of the Whiterun nuisance yesterday. Crouched on the wall outside Jorvaskr, one-shotted him and dropped back. No bounty. Ah! Silence is golden. I let him live for several hundred hours with my first character, thinking he mattered for something. Nope! He's just insanely annoying.
Yeah, i was running up the steps to dragonreach when I accidently notched a poisioned arrow, crouched and hit him the back of the head from the top of the stairs. I felt just awful......

Oh, someone totally needs to make a mod for that. You could silence him and then he'd be coded to do his entire soliloquy in sign language.
