Killing Neloth? (Tel Mithryn Spoilers)

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 12:33 pm

I can't attack Neloth directly, he's too powerful. But I can make his life uncomfortable. I've killed his steward. I've withered his home. Maybe I should poison his precious tea. I'll need a more capable servant for that. The ash spawn are too clumsy for such delicate work.

--Ildari's Journal, vol. III

The man (Drovas Relvi; the new servant) makes a dreadful cup of canis root tea
-- Neloth

Drovas was pretty eager to do work. Maybe some foresight on Ildari's part after writing the journal that Neloth would be looking for a new steward?

Timeframe may not work out well, but still....conspiracy theory.

Also, I wouldn't put it past Bethesda to kill off such a higher than life character in such a mundane way.

Nobody kills Neloth. Just try.

You kill him in Morrowind, he appears on Solstheim 200 years later. Then you attack him again, and he's just perpetually staggered.

Ahem, Drovas was eager because he owed money to a certain loanshark, d*ckhead Orc.

When Dunmer in Raven Rock go to sleep they check under their beds for ash spawn. When ash spawn go to sleep, they check for Neloth.

That made me giggle. Yes, giggle.

Anyway, I hated that guy. The first time, I just intimidated him into taking half of the payment.
Second time... I put an arrow through his throat from the ridge, then came down and Dead Thrall'd him. I took him to the coast and Unrelenting Force'd him into the water, because Thralls don't swim. Then I killed him while he was in the water, so his ash pile was beneath the surface.
Fun fact, if you Dead Thrall the orc, his bodyguard will follow you around as long as he's alive. After that, I don't know what he did.

Not much of a bodyguard if he's protecting his dead employer.

Well, to be fair.. no bodyguard is really effective against someone with the blood of a wolf and the soul of a dragon.

The bodyguard works well as a snack.

I hear body guards are good for your heart...

I love how, the only time one of them was knocked down, it was by another Greybeard.
