Kills vs Wins; What do you respect more?

When you look at other players stats do you consider them good based on a higher win to loose ratio? or a higer Kill to death ratio and whats you reasoning behind it?

I don't look at stats much, but I'd respect kills more than wins.

I think K/D and W/L stats are nonsense!

im a good player an i only have a 2,... K/D -> thats because I like to play alittle bit funny like only pistol matches or gaus reflex or other thinks i do it for fun and not to have the best K/D ever.....an if i get serious u will see that a 2,.... K/D can destroy u every time :)

dont look that much at stats they can lie ;D

If I had to choose I prefer wins as K/D counts for nothing if you are losing matches all the time.

I don't trust either of them if I'm looking to find out how skilled someone is.

Mostly because if you're running with your clan/friends in 95% of your games, then your K/D and W/L won't be true measurements of your skill as an individual.

There's also the matter of if the player is always in tryhard mode or not. Running the Feline/SEIII setup will guaranteed increase your stats without you having to be skilled.

Sadly, this game is filled with 3/4-man squads all running the Feline. It's hard to find true skill in a crowd like that.

Definitely kills is more respected as it is a matter of pure skills whereas wins depend on skill as well as luck (team mates)

Some interesting points, I suppose it is true that the rank list is not all that accurate, I've played top A list rank players and truth be told I beat or give most of them a run for thier money and then on occasion I play a name I've never even heard of that gives me a run for my money. Intersting dynmic between the ranking and the players skills.

if by good player you mean someone who only uses glitch melee like the rest of his MAD clan do (and only seem to know how to kill using this method) then i guess he is a good player... right?

they hardly use their gun anymore..

Personally I don't think I've played him so I can't give a valid comment about him but with that said the glitch melee is never a good thing and unfortumatly it gets exploited all the time by alot of "good" players.
