Killzone 3

Played the Beta, pretty sweet. Definitely on my list of things to buy, however probably won't get it on release.

If anyone hadn't guessed I've been anticipating this for quite a while. *Points to avatar for past two years.*

I'm having some connection problems with the multiplayer beta, but the time I've had with it has blown CoD and BFBC2 out of the water, which have been my other console FPSs as of late. Can't wait for the SP demo tomorrow. :)

I'm a little bit worried about the reviews, though. An 86 on Metacritic isn't great for a game of this profile. Still, I'll preorder it in the next few days. I'm not sure why I haven't earlier, to be honest.

Well IGN and GameSpot gave it an 8.5/10, compared to 9/10 for Killzone 2. A drop of .5 isn't that bad, especially considering how low GameSpot scored the original.

Im getting it :).

I loved Killzone 2 and its epicly long battles, i only joined the lobbies that had half an hour per objective, the defend and destroy objectives on radec academy were some of the most epic i have ever played.

And i totally agree about the PS3 controller being uncomfortable MF, but Killzone is worth it.

I'm the exact opposite. I can't stand a 360 controller for anything let alone a FPS. I couldn't play Killzone using one.

EDIT: Oh, and @ MorrowindFan: No, it's not horrible. But it's not as high as many people, myself included, were expecting. Still, I don't particularly trust IGN or Gamespot as both seem quite biased towards the 360 to me, but I don't want to start a console war. Reviews that have mattered have given it good scores, so we'll have to wait and see.

I really can't see it being anything less than a 7.For me I'm guessing it will be an 8 or 8.5.

Does anyone know when the North American single player demo comes out? I just checked and the store hasn't updated. It is today, right?

I believe they update the PSN on thursdays.

Also I've been playing the open beta, and I like it. But it's still clunky, not as much as KZ2. I don't like the sensitivity's unresponsiveness (even at 100%). If it were made more akin to COD's immediate reaction sensitivity I think I would enjoy it so much more.

I thought the demo was only available for PS+ subscribers.

It updates on Wed/Thurs in Europe and Tues/Wed in North America.

Not anymore.

The demos (3d and 2d) came out about two hours ago. Downloading now. :) European players have to wait till tomorrow for their demos.

Pre-ordered it yesterday. Not sure when I'll actually get around to playing it though -- I still haven't started Dead Space 2.

I'm kinda wishing I had preordered... oh well, I'll just get it tomorrow. something to do, I guess...loved the beta, the SP demo was kinda disappointing, though. I was expecting it to be a little more... challenging?

I've played through it about five times now, on top of the countless amount of times I've seen it played. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Arrived home with my Helghast Edition 20 minutes ago.

Its already one of my favorite CEs, there is something for everyone whether you prefer physical merchandise or in game bonuses.

So far the servers are pretty bad, me and my buddy are trying to get into matches and we lose each other or neve make it in all together a decent amount of time.

I really enjoyed the beta and I plan on getting it sooner or later. I just started playing Infamous and I have yet to finish Dead Space (Artifacts from the holidays). Also, once I get a new graphics card, after my old one died on me, I plan on playing Morrowind and Oblivion as well as New Vegas (which I barely got started in). I'm also busy with classes.

Is it just me or has their networking gone to hell? Can't seem to get any matches to work...

Must be overloaded at the moment. :(

I had the problem at first and on the beta but I've been running fine all day now.

I noticed i still have Killzone (1) on my shelves, and gave it a shot It's a shame they didn't continue to include the selectable characters and diverging paths the campaign of the first one.

Demo was pretty nice, nice enough for me start replaying 2 :D i doubt i'll buy it for full price though, but definetly somewhere down the line.

I like the theme,I'm using it right now.I haven't listen to the soundtrack at all.The maps are solid and some of the better ones in the game.THen the first 24 hours of double XP and all the unlocks is really nice.

Oh and it's my pleasure to rub it in. :D
