Exactly. If you're going to post this thread, back it up with some solid info. Otherwise it just sounds like you're trolling.

Are you sure they weren't playing as a guy with a heavy body type? Reviewers and podcasters are often dumb enough to do something like that, and, not even knowing about light/medium body types, pass the game off as clunky or slow.

plus Richard ham said something like there was a delay when you use the SMART button
like when you vault over something there is a delay before you vault over it

but when you do it manually you don't get that delay

I've watched about 20-30 vids on the game and not one has looked sluggish.

First off, you listen to a few podcasts, then it's one podcast, and now you can't provide a link?

I've heard about this, something about being able to perform any and all SMART moves manually with the normal move/jump/duck/sprint buttons. This does slightly concern me though, since the sprint button is used for SMART.

I like how you hear one thing some guys you dont even know said about the game, could of been pure heresay and you immediately hop onto these forums to tell us how "worried" you are. Be a little stronger in your own opinions and from the evidence youve seen in the doc vids yourself before hopping on here all panties in a bundle and [censored].... LAWLS

I hope the guys from the Gameovercast have a BRINK pre-re-view tomorrow. They liked it when they played it on Gamescom, after all.

The thing behind this is that if you jump to a wall then hit SMART you'll vault faster than just holding down SMART.

Didn't see anyone mention this when they played the tournament in London today.
In fact reports from EG forum (from people playing in it) mentioned that it was quite a blast to play.

That's still more than enough to make the system more... learn-able? Skill-based~ish? Basically, new players can just W+sprint, while experienced players can use manual input, the former benefitting from a more reliable way of movement (like when under stress, when you try escaping from someone and are bound to failing the timing on your actions), while the latter offers a more risky, but swifter way of movement.

Till the game is released, I'll be the judge of that. Even if they were beta testers and Demo Players, doesn't mean we will see eye to eye. What right to some is wrong to others.

Funny how the reassurance comes with a link, while the "a few podcasts... i mean one" saying the game's not very good is yet to do the same...

I like how the op stopped posting after everyone started getting into this. I kinda doubt he was being legit with his info too. I've been looking all over and no podcasts.
