Hello,

I am unable to complete the entry quest for the Bards college (Tending the Flames) due to the inability to get King Olaf's verse from the corpse at the bottom of the dungeon. The quest marker is here, but the book is not in his hands.

Sorry for double post, BUT I found a fix for this just a moment after posting this. For others with this issue, the book is there. It has somehow been rendered under the stone and a FIREBALL spell a couple of times at the wall dislodged it enough to pick up.

I'm on this one and can't get the book and now im stuck! grrr. I don't have the fireball spell so it's either restart and not do that quest or wait for a patch .

hi ive come across a slightly later glitch with the turn circles around the key holder for the ruby claw. they wont turn!! ive gone back a couple of saves but still get the same problem. help im gona lose hours of play time i cant get back

I also had this problem, when I first went to the dead body I couldnt find the book, so I looked around killed a couple more dougr's and open a locked door, when I came back, there it was! just lying on the ground 3/4 yards from the dead body outside the raised gate, it wasnt there before, I thought that was weird

I reloaded another earlier save to see if it was actually in the hands this time but again it wasnt there and no matter what i did it didnt reappear like the first time

I have not experienced the bug in the OP, but I just did this quest earlier and I found a different bug...

I completed both Persuade Speech checks while filling in the lyrics for the olaf one eye song...

but when the guy goes to sing the song he mentions the first part about olaf being numinex.... but gets the second part confused with making the people wear disguises instead of attacking the town as a dragon.

I had this same exact problem. I was really looking forward to hearing about how the dragon wreaked havoc.
