I'm working on a mod that has to do with King Wulfharth, and I've got some questions.

1) One of the various names Wulfharth was known as was "Ysmir: Dragon of the North." In the book Varieties of Faith he is listed as apart of the Nord pantheon. My question is was he a god? Is he still worshiped?

2) What was his final fate?

3) Was his soul used to power Numidium? I've seen conflicting reports saying he was the Under King, not Zurin Arctus.

4) Did Shor/ Lorhhan really communicate with him?

5) Who is Kyne's counterpart in the Imperial pantheon?

1: depends what you mean by worshipped. In 4th era skyrim, he is very much a revered hero. Note that the Nords often refer to "Ysmir", which can mean either Tiber Septim, Wulfharth or the Oversoul.
2: Betrayed by Tiber Septim and Zurin Arctus; bound to a soul gem of sorts which was used to power the dwemer god-colossus, Numidium. Others more familiar with Daggerfall than I can say what happened after that.
3: The Underking was both the vengeful soul of Wulfharth and the magical power (and body?) of Zurin Arctus.
4: Probably. He seems to have a closer relationship with the heart than any other Shezarrine.
5: Kynareth.

Thank you for your answers. I find Wulfharth very interesting, and was surprised he received little to no mention in Skyrim. I've heard some npc's say "By Ysmir" when talking to the pc.

I have another question: Where in Skyrim would a person of his status and significance be interred? I mean when he first died.

Although I may be wrong on this, I believe he first died at Red Mountain, becoming the Ash King. So there were no remains to bury. Before becoming immortal-ish, he was a High King of Skyrim, and there may be some information on that in the game, otherwise I'm sure you can think up a reasonable place, either in an important barrow, or Solitude, or Windhelm somewhere.

Ysmir is more of a title. The title being Dragon of the North. A name given to Tiber. Wulfharth was a punk (imHo). The Greybeards never gave him that title. They turned him away when he thought he was a dragonborn (not merely turned him away, but turned him to ash apparently.. I guess he was already undead at this point. Not sure what the whole deal is).

Hmm, you are right he did die at Red Mountain. I just assumed they carried his body back to Skyrim. I assume though the people of Skyrim made a place of honor for him. As for location I was thinking Windhelm, since the palace of kings is their. And it's the only place that mentions him.

He was already ash at the point he went to see the Greybeards. You know when they all shout at you to test if you're Dragonborn? Well, that didn't go so well for him.

He was named Ysmir. The Songs of Wulfharh were pretty clear about this. In fact, he was named Ysmir for exactly the reason you hate him: his zealotry. And he was around before the Greybeards, if anything, they stole the title.

The whole being blasted back into ash was sort of a consequence to the sheer power of their voice, as opposed to them attacking him. Its their way of saying you're not quite up to snuff. No real malice is present there, I wager.

In any case, he seems to have a bad history with everyone we're led to believe are associated with dragonborn at this point. Greybeards turn him down, Septim stops being BFF with him.. not to mention that in life, Wulfharth executed the followers of the other supposed Dragonborn Alessia and burned their temples.

Erm. The Greybeards didn't have much of a choice in that matter due to the fact he wasn't, ya know, Dragonborn, and Tiber is a manipulative bastard at the best of times. The Alessian order wasn't exactly well loved in Skyrim either.
