What game is this exactly, I've never heard of it.

It's a well talked about game, has been compared to "Oblivon mixed with God of War" has i think 1 or 2 ex-TES staff members working on it.

Um... why are you trying to incite fan war, here? Kingdoms of Amalur is KoA, The Elder Scrolls is TES. No one is copying anyone here. If you want to claim that one product is copying the other, you could easily say that the Elder Scrolls is copying Dungeons&Dragons.

Also, Kingdoms of Amalur is going to be awesome -- and I'll play that right beside Skyrim too.

they are two different games, both look good, we dont need to wage war over another open world rpg existing.

Can't wait for Amular, should be a great game with the dream team behind it. Also ever hear of Ken Rolston? You know the lead designer for Morrowind and Oblivion? No? Well he is the lead designer for Amular. So if they share some similarities it may not be all that bad or unexpected. Also, if anything, this game is more akin to some of the MMO'S out there.

A lot of games are bigger then Oblivion, but Oblivion was vividly detailed down to the blades of grass, thats what makes this series so great, the micro details.
