Ok for the Telvanni Quest line, there are some quest relating to Baladas, the man who lives in Gnisis in that cool house Arvs-Drelen. The thing is I killed that man before I joined the house and now they are asking me to do things for him when i can't. (Because he is dead!) Did I just screw up my file or is there a way to save the Questline?

You see, you are lucky to be able to use console command ha ha. Baladas is also important for other quests. (Legion, Dwemer books). Next time don't kill before they attack you. Baladas is a peaceful man. Why kill him?? :facepalm:

Yes, this is one of Morrowind's salts. Different institutions want different things here. Someone (the Imperials? Rival House?) wants Baladas killed. Also, Telvanni want his services. This is only one example how one person can be part of many quests, others even meant to kill him. Too bad if you killed him before. You can resurrect him using the console, yes, but don't mind if you killed him even when you already were part of the Telvanni. We just think he wasn't strong enough to be Telvanni if a puny low-rank like yourself managed to kill him. We won't let you advance further in our House for game mechanical reasons, though.

Mmh. Last time I even bothered to check what happened outside my tower or my vault, I was kinda all those, plus I had integrated the Mages Guild with Telvanni. I'm also the chief of the Skaal, Champion of Bloodmoon Prophecies, Patriarch of the Temple slash He Who Slayed the Tribunal, Grandmaster of the Morag Tong who permanently defeated Dark Brotherhood, among other things. It's also Azura who is my favorite pet, and not the other way round. But actually... everything else but Telvanni has been some minor side fun at most. Also, the last time I checked, even the Mainland Telvanni are but a little side branch in my grasp at the moment. I don't care that much, though - I'm writing a systematic study about the essences of other realms at the moment, which will, hopefully, drive people like Rilvin and Divayth to make their puny little research reports even a little bit better. That study is the only thing I'm focusing in at the moment.

Pff that's nothing, I have no such claims but I can cook a fierce nix hound soup.

BTW OP you already set your mind to fight against the Telvanni before when you took a writ to kill a Telvanni. Your character didn't just suddenly think "no, I was wrong, I should help but not hinder the Telvanni" now did he ? You don't need to do the Telvanni questline on this character You can always do it on some other character that likes the Telvanni more.
