A Knight's Tale

Post » Sun Aug 29, 2010 8:43 pm

This story will take place 6 months before the Nerevarine arrives... It is about a House Redoran/Tribunal Temple Knight who is losing his faith. So he is called by forth by the Tribunal themselves, and sent around Tamriel attempting to find the lost artifact called, "The Staff of Sotha Sil". As he goes on his journey he will meet companions, enemies, and delve into the true Tribunal's history...

Love the idea, but the titles a little stale. And the Staff of Sotha Sil? I like the idea but its seems.... cliche

Pretty basic plot you ask me, and a mediocre peripheral. I don't know, I just don't see anything unique from any other adventure story.

The backstory isn't what makes it unique, it will be what happens along the way. Staff/item change it will now be the "The Crescent Blade of Azura" or "The Blade of Boethia".

I like the idea but I have one question. Lore states that Temple Kights are Ordinators, so is he an Ordinator? If so that would be cool. Second you may want to change your title since it is the same as my Fanfic

I think just the Dres are Ordinators, but the Buoyant Armigers seem diverse.

Actually from the title I was assuming it would have something to do with Chaucer's Knights's Tale from the Canterbury Tales.

Now I must look into this. I shall return with an answer.

Actually, it's the Indoril, not the Dres. :P

Indoril favor the Ordinators, while Redoran favor the Armigers... but neither is exclusive.

Check the UESPwiki under the Morrowind articles for Ordinators, and the Imperial library has a pretty decent article on Houses Indoril and Dres, if you use the search function.

EDIT: But this is getting off-topic. Zalphon, maybe you should ask this thread be closed.

Ahh, right. That stuff seems conspicuously forgettable around here.
