I got a question about the Kight of the Imperial Dragon. What is his (her) position in the empire? Are they akin to a general, some one who would report directly to the empire or maybe ocato. Is there one in every province that the empire controles? Sorry thats a couple of questions.

Its a title given to a champion of the faith, where the populist and Imperial interests intertwine. After a ceremony, complete with the usual White-Gold debauchery, the fool is sent somewhere convenient and where his ego would best serve the Empire - Vvardenfell.

The Knight of the Imperial Dragon is the highest rank within the Order of Imperial Knights (Something like the Knight Grand-Cross of the OBE). The Knight of the Imperial Dragon acts as the leader of the local Imperial Guard (The guys guarding high-ranking people) and likely serves as a sort of liason between the local goverments and the Imperial Legions.

Well, it is said that the Blades are the Emperor'sbody-guards, but I read once that only a few of the Blades are actually apart of the Imperial Guard. A Knight of the Imperial Dragon likely also serves as the leader of the Emperor's own guard.

I could be wrong.
