I've searched the web for explanations but I cannot find any. If anyone could tell me exact placement and the objects I need I'll be very appreciative..

So far I have a few..

-A gate door that closes and stays shut as soon as you step on a certain pressure plate

-A hidden stone door that raises when you press a button and stays up

Finally figured out my stupid mistake... nevermind... I was setting both as persistent references..
